Lovely antique Victorian to early Edwardian era Sorrento inlaid wood 12.25" vanity or hand mirror with ornate mosaic style outer band with winged serpents and large inner with black bird figures, ribbons and original beveled glass mirror! One of two Sorrento style inlaid pieces that we're adding this week, the other a lovely folding desk or writing table top book rack and both with that expert exotic wood inlay. This one quite unique with a mosaic band framing the larger figural inlays and in wonderful condition, age considered. A lovely decorative accent, we love to put a hang ring on the top of these and display them on the wall, whether in a guest or master bath they always add both visual and decorative appeal.
Very good condition, age considered. The mirror itself is the original beveled one but does have a bit of age including dark marks but no chips or cracks that I can see. A few small spots of veneer loss elsewhere, all visible in the images. No breaks or other flaws. See pictures for all measurements.
