Antique French fan, wood sticks are 17cm long, fan is 24cm, closed. Silver hot stamped wood sticks, leaving slight indentation with silver. Perhaps the "something old" for a summer bride. The beautiful little fan dates c.1910. Possibly a souvenir of someone's Grand Tour, Edwardian era.
Good to very good condition for age and type. Clean, bright, lush with the feathers and no damage to the wooden monture, simple guards. Just a pretty little antique fan. No box, has been stored for 2-3 decades in archival tissue, the feathers overlie themselves quite beautifully.
