Vintage throw pillow or lumbar pillow 20.5" long, 11" tall and 5" in depth, created using a beautiful 18th century Verdure Flemish tapestry border fragment which is 18.24" long and 8.25" wide (the amount showing on pillow top). Vintage to antique wool tassels and trim, and cream silky backing (note corner wear), and a fill which can be enjoyed for some support (not just down-filled), which you want for a lumbar type pillow like this. Beautiful natural forms and palette which will work with any decor, antique to modern. These are being shown will very modern decors now, as are wall tapestry (we have some for you, sold separately). 

Very good condition for age and type, with the salvage tapestry panel being excellent for age, no holes nor loose weave, so very nicely preserved and already professionally restored. On this vintage pillow, wear showing to vulnerable corners of the silk fabric used as backing, as shown in detail. Trim is nice, with wool yarn tassels showing also signs this pillow was used and enjoyed. No odors, no stains.
