Really quite strikingly complete and undamaged, to the cut points of that billowing sail, this 1850s French Grand Tour souvenir sail boat is so charming. I'm sure you can display your pocket watch hooked to the top of the mast, below the extension with flag, and the oval natural pearl shell will hold the watch chain and fob. The rigging is all twisted wire. This is an early and fine one, ladder and anchor included. The old shell base/plinth is weighted. Isn't it superb! Measurements on photos.
Very good to excellent. I really don't see anything to report as a flaw. The mother of pearl shells are highly pearlescent, the brass work is complete and. very high quality, early. The anchor and the flag rippling in the wind - the billowed shell sail, all without any damage. Usually the points of sails on these are chipped.
