Fantastic antique French 11.5" tall Napoleon III or Victorian era solid bronze cased barometer & thermometer station or stand with winged figural accents, black marble base or plinth and wonderful condition! Just in from France and truly spectacular, much more than expected really with the solid bronze stand and marvelous winged figures framing the barometer itself. Seashell shaped finial and original thermometer below. The card barometer dial does have a maker mark at the 6 o'clock position but I've not found reference to it. One of two wonderful desk or mantel top barometers that we're adding this week, the other in more of an Empire style so, be sure to browse some while you're with us. Very good to excellent condition. We haven't tested the barometer or thermometer accuracy but both appear to be in fine working order. No damage to the heavy bronze framework and only a tiny nip or two possible to the black marble base. See pictures for all measurements.
