Elegant vintage Gorham hallmarked sterling silver 5" x 4.75" bon bon or condiment dish, possibly "vide poche" jewelry & trinket dish with larger seashell or shell shaping! One of three sterling seashell motif pieces that we're listing today, this one with Gorham markings on the underneath side of the handle portion, pattern number(?) 445. The uses are basically only limited by your imagination but I'd guess it would be for bon ons, condiments of some sort on your opulent table or possibly jewelry or keys at the bedside or boudoir table.
Excellent condition. Possibly a tiny dimple or two but, as you can see, this one is in near pristine shape. See images for weight and measurements.
