Fabulous and damage-free, this is a late 1800s to earliest 1900s hand carved 'Fruits of the Hunt' themes wall plaque, a dog and crane and other bird featured in the carved casement and a fine working French aneroid barometer at center. The piece is impressive in size, 16" widest and 2 1/4" in depth, larger than most. Hunting dog or hound up top. I find no damage to report, and given the age that is quite rare. Full measurements also noted on our photos.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. Barometer appears to work (we're in San Diego, CA, so not much weather change here, really). A beautiful carved case!
