Fabulous antique Napoleon III or Victorian era beadwork needlepoint 12" diameter footstool or foot stool, beautiful scrolling design to the glass beads in red, shades of gray and white mounted to a walnut veneered base with colorful marquetry inlaid band, original stoneware or ceramic feet & in wonderful condition! One of three similar footstools that we're listing today, the other two a pair and with parquetry inlaid walnut bases and floral needlepoints. This one quite unique with the figures, glass beads creating the scene you see and wonderfully preserved.
Very good condition. Possibly a missing bead or two, look closely at the enlarged photos, and there is one small hole (visible in the images). Some scratches or scuffs and minor imperfections to the walnut veneer but I see no losses to the marquetry band. Original pumpkin shaped ceramic feet intact and I see no chips.
