Fantastic antique Victorian or Napoleon III era hand carved European oak 15" wall or bracket shelf, superb detail with floral garland & scrolled acanthus and a marvelous Neo-Renaissance style feather plumed jester figural bust! Just about as gorgeous as they come, this one hand carved in solid old growth European oak and the detail is exquisite. Acanthus leaves scrolling around the base and accenting, a wonderful bit of floral garland below the figure and all in fabulous condition. The figure surely a Renaissance style Jester with feathered had. I think the pictures do this one justice but it really is even more impressive in person. A glorious work, don't miss it!
