Rare to find one of these with a perfect body, no chips nor cracks in neck or body at all, and fine cut facets and sides without nips to the crisp cuts. The caps are fully intact, a gold or 'vermeil' finish to silver metal which I think is at least .800/1000 silver though I am not seeing hallmarks. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, not a single flaw to the beautiful cut glass, brilliant claret red. Caps are compression closure apparatus, therefore no stoppers were ever necessary and it holds tightly on each end, the pushbutton end and the screw-mount cap end. Each end has a very small ding dent. Otherwise, quite perfect. Victorian era, c. 1880.
