Luxuriously crafted natural croc Dr bag or travel valise, satchel is 16.5" long as shown, and is in remarkably fine condition both inside and out. An important British fine silver and luxury goods maker, WOLFSKY & Co., LTD, London, established in 1860. The interior is a splendid red cordovan leather, gold embossed and double-pocketed, very clean and fine. The exterior is fabulous old croc, and I feel certain the old handles have been replaced so it's really in perfectly usable condition. No splits at folds or seams either inside or out. I've owned this bag for decades. It's been stored carefully and in archival manner and it shows. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, one of the nicer croc Dr bag or travel valise you'll ever find. The leather is just gorgeous both inside and outside, and in remarkably unscathed condition. A tiny rough corner edge up top, and a visible darkened stain on the underside or bottom (no corresponding stain on the red leather interior). As noted, handles seem to me to have been changed out but the leather is a fine match and it's nicely done and very serviceable for wear. No cracks or damage to the folded areas of croc leather, which is unusual in a bag this old. Supple leather, well cared for. The rich red interior has no holes or damage apart from a couple of abrasions from use. One side had 2 open pockets, and it's a large bag - fabulous for travel use! I used it once, the handle wrapped with an Hermés scarf. I know you'll love owning this one!
