A cluster of little French frames with your favorite photos can be the most precious tabletop or desktop collection ever. This is a fabulous one if fine quality, date to Napoleon III era (Victorian) and can either be used on a separate small easel, or hung on wall. This one is mid-sized, elegant and ornate like a gem or jewel frame, really. Heavy cast Dore bronze, c. 1850-70s. Frame is 4.25" diameter round plus the elaborate crown top.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. It has cover glass in place, and the artistry of it makes it a focal point of any collection. Louis XV wreath top styling, acanthus. It still has its original slightly convex cover glass, fully intact. Full measurements noted on the photos.
