Imagine her as a large bracelet clasp, probably 8-12 strands of seed pearls, and a matching 2nd bracelet with her husband's portrait. I've had full original sets before but they're so rare!  I can test for 14k or 16k gold, and this one does not test 16k but does at 14k, and owing to age and typical fine English jewelry, I would say it is most likely 15k gold. The 240 or so year old bracelet clasp has been altered to wear as a pendant or necklace, or to hang by that added bale. Wear her or display her. Total weight is 13.9 grams, and the cover is glass rather than rock crystal, beautifully preserved without loss. Full measurements noted on the photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type, her portrait is very fine. Our digital photos and studio lights usually will capture tiny dust particles on the interior and you see a few such white dots, perhaps. Those are not even visible to your eye and are not flaws on the painting. Also, similarly the glare of the lights is impossible to avoid on the convex cover glass and are glares and not flaws. Very very light surface abrasions on the gold backing, far less than one would expect for what is likely a 250 year old jewelry item.
