Fabulous large vintage London hallmarked sterling silver 12 5/8" tall boudoir or vanity mirror with ornate scrolling repousse or bas relief and original thick beveled mirror! This style of sterling silver overlay has been popular for over a century now, pieces ranging from late 1800s right up to today and they're as elegant as can be. We're adding quite a few this week, mirrors and picture frames with velvet over wood frames, lovely repousse or bas relief sterling silver overlays and, as with this one, thick beveled mirrors. The hallmarks on this one are from London, England and the date marks are for 1985. The silversmith mark is for Keyford Frames, Ltd. though I don't have much information about them. Very good condition. I see no notable damage to either the silver facade or mirror. There is an extremely faint bend to the wood frame but you really need to look at it from the side to notice it. Some age to the velvet visible on the back but no losses or tears. See pictures for all measurements.
