Delightful & rare antique French Napoleon III era 8 3/4" tall cigar presenter box or casket in the form of an old country house, shack or "maison" with charming hand painted decoration and wonderful visual & decorative appeal! Not actually a humidor per se, there is no soaker or humidifier in this one. The interior is in finished wood with a mounted fixture in the base to hold cigars in an upright position until desired. The exterior just like a little old country shack, hand painted door & windows, etc. and fantastic! This one even has a working lock and the original old steel skeleton key. A rare and lovely little piece, don't miss it!
Good to very good condition. There is some loss to the paint in places, most notably visible on the front lower eave of the roof and, possibly, around the chimney. There is also some chipping to the outside ledge just below the front window and the ledge below the right side window is missing. The lock and key work just fine. See pictures for all measurements.
