Gorgeous antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era gilt bronze double picture frame with ornate pierced or reticulated decoration, machined or engraved accenting & wonderful condition! Each offset side holds a carte de visite sized photo (3 5/8" x 2.5") and the frame stands an impressive 8 1/4" tall. Beautiful and one of two that we're adding today, along with a host that we currently have available. They're gorgeous grouped & displayed with treasured photos or moments in time, opulent.
Very good to excellent condition, age considered. There is hardly a sign of wear to the gilding. The upper corner of the right side is slightly bent out of original shape (all visible in the images). It retains all original backings and easel stand along with hang ring. See pictures for all measurements.
