I keep hearing the brooch is back, and here's one you'll definitely want to own and wear. I've worn it clustered with others accented by seed pearls, mourning iconography (while I do not think this is specifically a mourning brooch), and other citrine brooches I have. Time to put them all up for sale, downsize. The full measurements are on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. I cannot find a single flaw. The gold has been acid tested at 12k, and it is likely an English Victorian era bespoke jewelry item. As we know, seed pearls were representative of tears of a mourner, so it is possible it was a mid-late mourning period piece of jewelry. Not a chip, not a scratch, so it was treasured.
