Fabulous antique Victorian to Edwardian era Country French or English style carved solid golden oak furniture or architectural panels or plaques, a 3pc set with bows & ribbons, Louis XVI style fruit filled baskets, scrolling foliage & flowers and all in wonderful condition! These would be considered architectural salvage, either plaques from the built-in hand carved paneling of a beautiful old estate or chateau, or doors from a cabinet or piece of superbly crafted old furniture. An original set of three matching panels we've just brought in from France and we have another set newly listed today. Each set is sold separately so be sure to look for them, put together just what you want to bring a custom and opulent detail to your own cabinetry. The panels are, as noted, entirely hand carved in solid old growth European oak. They all date to the mid-late 1800s, and all have just been cleaned after their trip here from France. These are also wonderful just hung and wall displayed as is or framed & displayed as wall decoration. Lovely!
Very good to excellent condition. All solid oak, the panels are thick & solid, free of splits or warping. Possibly a small nip or two but no larger chips. As you can see, the edges of the panels are all a bit lighter from being mounted. See pictures for all measurements.
