Fabulous large antique Victorian era Black Forest carved 14 7/8" tall cigar presenter, a wonderful cabinet with 'Fruits of the Hunt' theme, ten sliding cigar trays and superb visual & decorative appeal! A larger piece, standing just under 15" tall with the large carved ibex or mountain goat figure on the top. Cabinet style, the front with two doors that open to the ten sliding trays inside, each with 4.25" grooves so the cabinet will hold a total of 100 cigars. The doors themselves with figures displayed or hung as if fresh from the hunt, one appears to be a chamois and the other a longer horned ibex or mountain goat and both with hunting accoutrement surrounding them that includes rifles, canteens, powder horns, ropes and foliage. A wonderful cabinet!
