A sweet little pair of epergne stands, Swiss Black Forest hand carved Grand Tour souvenirs which would have original come with glass flutes/vase inserts. These do make wonderful little candle holders, and I've used numerous sets as just that, often grouping them on a mantel or at table for fun evenings with friends. This pair is not perfect. They were part of a large grouping of carved pieces I purchased from a French estate recently.
Good to very good condition for age and type, I've marked the small losses, noting that the 2 anatomically pleasing birds seem fine for the most part. Perhaps very tip of beak points - lots of photos to review. The base is sturdy at 3.5" x 2.5" oval, but note that one has a repaired break at the back on that base. Priced accordingly so someone can love them.
