In the Museum of Decorative Arts, Prague, (and other museums) you'll find wonderful old 19th century Moser items like this one - glass salamanders, frogs, snakes on Art Nouveau natural scenes that are painted on with kiln-fired enamels. They are rarely signed, but are noted in the museums as Moser, so we are certain this one is also a Moser glassware arts piece. Superb quality and important piece, this will anchor any collector's display, and is large at 5" diameter, 5" high when closed.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. I see not a single flaw to note on this rare old art glass from the Bohemain house of MOSER. No chips, no cracks or hairlines, no damage or loss.
