Well, as of listing date it is 1.6 years shy of 'antique', the Sevrés mark and date verifying c.1926. But it's close enough, and is a stunning beauty! The single elegant cabinet plate has no damage, even the heavy gold enameled rim is without nick or scrape. No utensil marks, of course, and ready to display as it grows more and more valuable over time. Full measurements noted on photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. No chips, hairlines, cracks and no utensil or scrapes to the plate. Very very slight occasional abrasion on outer gold rim, but not anywhere to draw the eye, no white porcelain visible, just a light rub on heavy gold. The outer broad band on the scalloped plate is a very deep cobalt blue. We have just the one plate, and it is just in from France and from a noted estate (anonymously offered).
