The amber is a deep honey color, gorgeous, and trimmed with a Mizar tested 16k gold ring at the end. Just at 2 1/4", with a diameter at tip of 5/8". The interior diameter is right about 12mm, for use with smaller to medium cigars or cheroots. Amber is fossilized resin of certain species of ancient extinct trees. This one with its' original sterling silver case or etui, the hallmarks are most likely American and read simply "sterling" & "935" with no silversmith marks that I can see. Very good for age and type, it is a beauty, but you can see it has been used and cherished, and while it's been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, it does appear to have a tiny bit of "teeth marking" at the lip. With its original sterling silver case to protect it for roughly a century, the case also in fabulous shape with hardly a sign of dimpling and is fully intact. Case or etui is 2 5/8" long, 7/8" widest. Look for our many cigar-related cases and holders, presenters and humidor, sold separately.
