The eagle ones are rare to find! These are my own favorites; the wood mat French Empire frames with dore bronze frame and appliqués. This one is a frame for a miniature portrait, 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" oval aperture. The glass is with the frame and it's ready to add your own favorite photo. I use this type for all of my own family photos at home. The mix and match well with the similarly made ones with silk mats. This one is petit, just 4" square plus the added height of the wreath top.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, as you can see. Heavy dore bronze with wooden mat which is set with appliqué, all pieces are fully intact and so is the sliding back with easel stand and hanging loop. Glass, also in place. Ready to use.
