Fabulous antique French Napoleon III to Belle Epoque era Empire Revival style 8 1/4" tall double picture or portrait frame, dore gilt bronze with bow & ribbon top, nymph figural accents and wood mat! We have quite a few of these wonderful old French Empire style picture frames, some need a bit of work, some ready to go and we'll be working on them in the weeks ahead. This one gorgeous as it is, the contrast of the gilt bronze and natural wood mat is superb.
Very good to excellent condition. A hang ring on the back, no easel stand but that would be relatively easy to replace with the back taken from a newer frame if you decide to. See pictures for all measurements.
