Another one I just never found time to make up into a lushly fringed and down-filled decorator throw pillow. I only bought the very best I found while out buying other antiques. This is an unused panel with very broad linen canvas to work with. You might wish to add a larger needlepoint border of your own, or even beadwork, leaving enough to make it up into a large and opulent throw pillow. I know some make these up into centers of table cloths - this one would be gorgeous in that project, too. Folded back for only the needlework panel, it is 15" square.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. I don't see any missing beads and the wool stitches are nicely preserved, no moth or bud loss. Shows age, dates mid-1800s, so not like new, but fabulous! Strong canvas to make up into pillow top.
