Fine antique English hallmarked sterling silver 2pc travel or christening fork & spoon set, fluted pattern with interlaced "HM" or "WH" monograms and original domed leatherette box, case or etui! Most likely a gift at some point, this the style we normally see give at a child's christening. A medium luncheon or entremet sized pair, both with 1891 Sheffield sterling silver hallmarks and the silversmith marks appear to be for Martin, Hall & Company. An elegant pair!
Very good to excellent condition. No notable flaws or damage to either implement other than a slight bit of surface scuffing. As you can see in the images, the box is entirely intact but does have a bit of loss or damage to the leatherette covering (mostly on rear and bottom). See pictures for weights and measurements.
