Gorgeous pair of antique French sterling silver salad serving fork & spoon set with fabulous & rare Empire style musical instrument pattern & original box! The handles bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmarks, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are there but I've not been able to find reference to them so far, I'll continue to look and add if/when I find it. A beautiful pair, rare pattern so don't miss them!
Very good condition. Some age discoloration in the spoon bowl and fork tines but no real notable damage. See pictures for individual weights and measurements.
