These are such heavy old things, the bags made with metallic glass micro-beads, entirely beaded and on a bright brass frame with double-length chain so it can be either a hand bag or a shoulder bag. So nice for prom, for weddings, for evenings out. This one is a lovely old French made purse, probably dating 1915-1940s.
Very good condition for age and type. I find not a single missing bead, and it has no holes. The beaded panels are tightly sewn to the frame, as you can see. And the bag has a nice clean interior, too. Original long chain can be worn doubled for an arm bag, or as a single longer chain for shoulder bag use. No stains, no odors.
