Elegant antique to vintage Edwardian era Italian hand carved mother of pearl or shell cameo necklace & earrings set, five cameos representing the Three Graces in a nearly Art Deco style! This is one of two antique to vintage Italian cameo pieces that we're adding today, the other a lovely bracelet with seven cameos so be sure to check that one out. The cameos here, five in all, are quite distinct with their relatively monotone silver hue mother of pearl facades. Set in what is likely 800 to sterling silver though I've not managed to find any markings as of yet. I'll have to check again with a loop. Gold colored rope bordering around all but the earrings adds an extra flare of color but we've not tested to see if they're actually gold. Lovely!
Very good to excellent condition, age considered. I see no damage to any of the cameo insets or to any of the settings themselves other than the possibly/likely missing gold colored rope bordering on the earring cameos. The necklace chain is also likely not original. It has more of a gold color and I'd really rather see this beautiful pendant with a finer chain. Of course, this chain is quite long also and the pendant would really display better closer to the neck. See pictures for measurements.
