Fabulous antique French .800 (nearly sterling) silver 4pc christening or breakfast set, a 3pc flatware setting for one with rare matching cup, tumbler or "timbale" in the original shaped black leatherette storage and/or presentation box! One of a few smaller French sets that we're adding this week, this either meant as a christening, baptism or breakfast set, all complete and matching and simply as elegantly French as can be. No silversmith marks that I can see, the pieces simply bear the "800" marking for silver content so, they may be of other European origins. An elegant set nonetheless!
Very good condition. The knife blade is pre-stainless steel so there are visible tarnish or corrosion marks. LIght surface scuffing and there are a few small dimples to the base of the cup. Box is near pristine. See images for all measurements.
