Elegant antique French 1881-1900 Haviland Limoges marked chocolate or bouillon cup & saucer with lid and under plate or saucer, all with floral gold & silver raised enamel decoration and wonderful condition!  This could so easily be used as a sugar bowl also, given the size, though we think the original intention was wither for chocolate or bouillon.  An elegant set, all but the lid bear the stamped markings of CFM over GDM meaning they were made by Charles Field Haviland & Gerard, Dufaisseix & Morel, a French Limoges porcelain firm active in the late 19th century.  This mark was used during a transitional period when Charles Field Haviland’s factory was operating under the new partnership. Many antique dinnerware items (plates, cups, tureens, etc.) from this era carry similar CFH/GDM markings.  Charles Field Haviland was a member of the Haviland family who ran one of Limoges’ important porcelain businesses.  Gérard, Dufaisseix & Morel were the partners who took over the Haviland operations after Charles Field retired and pieces with the CFH over GDM mark were produced circa 1881–1900 in Limoges, France.

Very good condition.  A slight bit of wear to the enamel decoration possible, our images are large and clear so peruse and enjoy.  I see no chips or cracks though there might be a tiny nip or two.  See pictures for all measurements.
