Fine antique French hallmarked sterling silver handled 5pc serving implement or utensil set including meat carving knife & fork, gigot, salad fork & spoon and all in the original storage and/or presentation box! An elegant guilloche style engraved or machined pattern to the round handles with acanthus accents top & bottom. All handles bear the French Minerve or Minerva, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). Apparently I didn't get a clear photo of the silversmith marks but I'll try to do so and add but the set dates from the mid to late 1800s surely.
Very good condition. The knife blade is in pre-stainless steel so you do have some age darkened tarnish or corrosion marks (everything visible in images). Silver-plated fork tines and gigot tip. See pictures for all measurements.
