Delightful antique Victorian era Black Forest hand carved 1" tall wall plaque or accent PAIR, "Fruits of the Hunt" theme with game bird and fish, pierced or reticulated vines & foliage and bow & ribbon tops! So, not "land & sea", this one is more "air & sea", right? These likely would have been either affixed to the doors of a large Black Forest cabinet or perhaps two separate solid wood plaque backings but, of course, this could be how they were meant to be displayed. Both topped with that lovely carved bow & ribbon with central cartouche (no monograms or crest there), each delicately carved with pierced or reticulated tendrils, oak leaves
Very good condition, age & materials considered. There is a chip to the lower left leaf on the bird plaque, the bird's beak also a bit chipped with some old (not active) woodworm holes. The lower handle of the harpoon spear on the fish panel looks like it's been chipped off. Likely a small nip or two elsewhere but, basically just as you see them in the enlarged images.
