Charming antique Victorian era hand carved oak 9" decorative wall or bracket shelf pair, thick & heavy with a lovely seashell, scrolled foliage & floral motif! Not all that large really, perfect to hold candlesticks, a pair of carved Black Forest epergnes perhaps. Solid old growth European oak and both with a warm aged patina.
Very good condition. A few small chips here and there but nothing major. The most notable flaw is that one shelf surface appears to be a replacement/restoration. Cut to the same shape and size but missing the shaped edging. See pictures for measurements.
