Fabulous antique French Napoleon III or Victorian to Edwardian era Black Forest style carved walnut (?) cabinet, furniture or architectural panels or plaques, a 3pc set with Louis XVI style fruit filled basket, song birds, scrolling tendrils, foliage & flowers and all three in wonderful condition! These would be considered architectural salvage, doors from a cabinet or piece of superbly crafted old furniture. An original set of three matching pieces we've just brought in from France and we have another set newly listed today. Each set is sold separately so be sure to look for them, put together just what you want to bring a custom and opulent detail to your own cabinetry. The panels are, as noted, entirely hand carved in solid old growth European hardwood, likely walnut. They all date to the mid-late 1800s, and all have just been cleaned after their trip here from France. These are also wonderful just hung and wall displayed as is or framed & displayed as wall decoration. Lovely!
Very good condition. All solid hardwood, the panels are thick & solid, free of warping. There are a few visible splits but no notable damage, all have the original lock hardware, etc. but no key. Possibly a small nip or two but no larger chips. See pictures for all measurements.
