Purchased in Turkey, this large fragment of a larger hand woven Kilim tapestry or rug is just waiting to be made up into 2 or more fabulous down-filled throw or sofa pillows. Hand dyed wool yarns, so even and superbly woven, the panel is 31" x 35" and both sides are just gorgeous. One could possibly get 4 pillow tops out of this one. Strong warp to it, it'll be sturdy enough for a high wear decorative accent. This one is 19th century, lots of photos to show it well.
Very good condition for age and type, strong and clean - no odors at all and no stains. Ready to be made up into elegant decorator pillows. As you can see, there is one open hold toward one edge. You'll need to work around that, but the panel is quite large. Enough for a pair of king bed bolster pillows, or several smaller sofa pillows. Colors are vibrant, little fading as evidenced by photos of both sides. I have a 2nd one, to be sold separately, shown in final 2 images.
