Lovely antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era sterling silver bachelor's or solitaire, even child or doll sized 8oz coffee or tea pot with Aesthetic style ornate floral accenting & finial and figural serpent spout! Isn't this one just delightful. Tiny though in the exact proportions of a full sized pot, it almost begs to be displayed in an opulent Bru doll setting. The pot and lid both bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means it's in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are for Martial Fray, Paris circa 1849-1861. Lovely, don't miss it.
Very good condition. As you can see, the handle does have a few issues, come age darkened spots and splitting but solid and stable. Possibly a tiny dimple or two but no larger dents. The feet also might be a bit bent but the pot stands straight and steady. See pictures for weight and measurements.
