Well, I don't mind telling you I'm reluctant to list this one. I'm quite in love with it. It's a fine early to mid-1800s Moser item of good size (will hold an entire bottle of wine, easily) and of excellent condition throughout. Made like the portrait medallion Moser glass, vases and bowls, with an applied milk glass panel that rises a bit from the clear and engraved glass, and upon which a lush bouquet of flowers has been painted. Reminds me more of the Sevres paintings, really, but we know this piece is From Czech or Austrian origin, most likely Moser, though it isn't signed. The work is the same as those we've seen and photographed as Moser on display in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, (which is currently closed for renovation). Would be a wonderful pitcher in use from breakfast orange juice to evening wine, and anything in between. And in the meantime, fabulous on display in your lighted vitrine.

Very good to excellent, not a chip nor crack, no hairlines, and all of that lush bouquet of hand painted flowers is intact, too. The wide mouth top makes it perfectly useful and beautiful at the same time. Well balanced, the large handle misses some of the old original gold enamel, as you can see. This is typical of items of this age, of course. This one dates c.1830-60, and it rests smoothly on any surface. Very fine! It stands 10" tall and is 6" or so at widest part of the bulbous form, as noted on our photos.
