Fine vintage Manchester Silver Co. sterling silver 12pc 2 7/8" aperitif or liqueur goblet or cordial set, complete and in wonderful condition! First, sorry for the little bit of tarnish visible in the images, I must not have adequately dried them after polishing a few weeks ago but we'll do so again before shipping out. A lovely set, nothing overly frilly and, while we normally stick to the more prominent American silversmiths, English and French sterling silver, these were just too delightful to pass on. A complete service for twelve, nice shaping and all in great shape with just a few small dimples. We also have some Gorham liqueur or aperitif goblets to list, just a set of four but watch for them in the coming weeks. This set of twelve with hallmarks for the Manchester Silver Company of Providence, Rhode Island (founded in 1though these date to the early-mid 1900s surely. Just a note, the tray shown in the images is for context & ambiance and sold separately, not included. Also, at today's silver prices, this set is marked just above melt value.....
Very good condition. As noted, there are two or three small dimples and I'll see if I can smooth them out before re-polishing and shipment. See images for all weights and measurements.
