A beautiful decorative throw pillow, hand crafted in deep hunter green cotton velvet and lush fringe, with that elegant 19th c. French Aubusson fragment as center. Large and impressive, 20" x 19" plus a 2" tassel fringe, the added antique accent of a 1 1/2" wide metallic passementerie trim surrounds the woven panel. I never have enough of these pillows, on hand, and really do need to find someone to work up the hundreds of c.1600s - 1850s panels we have bought over a lifetime, don't I. I digress. This is in all clean, all new materials but the passementerie and Aubusson panel, so very fresh and clean, absolutely no odor at all. Very good to excellent throughout, I find nothing at all to report by way of detraction or flaw. Very nicely hand crafted, if the colors can work for you, you'll love it. Peachy pinks, fruit and flowers against a neutral background, accents of red and blue. The metallic passementerie trim is a lovely transition and dates to 19th century, as well. Thick, luxurious - will last for many generations with this undamaged old panel.
