These are always fun, but usually they're much much smaller. This extra large smoker's stand with rooster on lid, larger rooster and hen is a full 11" tall with lid on. The base is 9" x nearly 6" oval, and all 3 barrels & a shovel remain in really quite excellent condition as these go. Shown in detail in our photos, you can see the Country French charm of the carving and composition. Pipe or cigars go in center large barrel, fresh and spent matches in the other 2 barrels, or at least that would have been its original intention. I'm sort of tempted to find little zinc flower pots or glass vases and plant a few flowers, let the lid rest in front, as a centerpiece at my other home. Fabulous for center island or counter top, too. I can never keep these in inventory, and this is by far the finest and largest we've ever found or offered. Don't miss it!
Very good to excellent condition throughout. Really, a tip of one of hen's tail feathers, very slim nip there. Beaks are even good. The hen and rooster in front are large and fabulous, no damage to legs. That slender carved shovel is quite remarkably unscathed, as well. No smoke evidence or odors (just stained wood), can't really tell that it's even been used. lid is not quite fitting into full recess, might have a very slight warp to the large carved barrel - not much noticeable, but bears mention. Great carved detail throughout. Gorgeous finish - we did a light wood feed beeswax so it's going to be gorgeous a long time for you, too. Love this one!
