Fabulous antique Victorian to Edwardian era Black Forest hand carved 32.5" wide wall-mount hat & coat or riding crop & leash rack with ornate pierced or reticulated vines & leaves, bird figure with two-toned eye and nest with chick! Isn't this one lovely and you really can't beat the fantastic condition it's in. Just in from Europe and I actually photographed it before realizing that I'd forgotten to screw the small steel hooks back in along that bottom 'branch'. I'll show an additional picture with them in so you can see what they look like. Nice large size and fantastic condition, don't miss this one!
Very good to excellent condition. Possibly a chipped leaf tip or two but, as you can see, the entire piece is in overall superb shape. Hand carved from one large panel of what is likely linden wood. The large bird, nest and chick added or attached to that panel. No breaks or repairs to note. See pictures for all measurements.
