We've got a plan for this one, but you might buy it before I get the time to have it made into the top of a elongated frame for a mirror. Easy to have done, it's more an issue of figuring out where there's a place for it. Isn't it just fabulous! This would have been a piece of a cabinet, mounted on top or perhaps worked into paneling or other decorative applications. You can see the 2 dowel pins still in place. We'll leave them, very simple to remove or saw off flush but depending upon what this one eventually turns into, you might want the dowels.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. There are no losses visible to me, but please do look our images over. Solid wood, heavy old forest growth. It is 20" across, 8" high and has a depth of 3.75" at the top. You know how I love carved wood antique architectural and Black Forest items. Isn't it just the best!
