One from my own collection, this magnificent mid-1800s French "gem" frame in heart form is a true work of art. Two colors of wood for contrast on the wooden heart frame, accented by dore bronze appliques, swags, bow top. A sturdy easel stand on back as well as a hanging loop. This one still has its little oval glass, as well. Ready to open from backside and insert your tiny treasure of a photo, or a lock of hair of your baby, or bride/groom memento locks - you'll know just the way to use it. Entirely original down to the silk fabric backside and the tiny clamp that holds the hinged backing closed after you've inserted your photo from backside. None finer!
