A superb and extra large 19th century lathe-turned wood towel bar or rack, perfectly preserved and just in from Paris. I can never find these in finest form, but when I do, they're sold in record time. I know I promised someone out there I'd contact you directly when I found another nice one, and I'll look for you in my email, but in case you see this, I'm thinking of you. Measurements are noted on the photos. This is the largest and probably finest we've ever found.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. Not even a chip to the finial ends. No breaks, cracks, no chips to note. The swivel bar operates perfectly, and it's not even warped anywhere. Stunning patina to the old wood. I'm tempted to add on one more bathroom just to put this one to use. Isn't it fine! No hairlines, no cracks, strong and ready to be mounted and enjoyed. That back plaque is 7.5" in diameters and the rack is 24.5" long. Don't miss it!
