We've offered and sold so many of these wonderful aperitif sets over the years, I know a lot of people wish we'd offer more in the modest price ranges rather than just the old Baccarat, St. Louis, Daum Nancy and similar sets that can go into the thousands. Here is one such simple set and petit price to go along with it. The typical yellow and blue combination glass of the 19th century art glass firm "George Sand", we think it is from that maker. There is no signature, however. The single decanter served 8 cordial stems for your guests, and all pieces are in lovely condition.
Very good to excellent for age and type. I have not found a chip nor hairline anywhere and even the rims of the 8 cordials are smooth and unshipped. The set is entirely mouth-blown glass, made by artisans, and dates c.1850-1900. Wonderful rope-twist handle on the decanter and the original stopper without damage, too. All measurements are found on the photos.
