We have a couple of wonderful 19th century mother of pearl pens belonging to my brother. Listing both today, sold separately. They're each the old coveted ones that hail from the boutiques of the Palais Royal, Paris (former palace of Cardinal Richelieu), and this one is the older of the two, intricately carved old mother of pearl handle and the early to mid-1800s pen box, both in very nice condition for age and type. Look for a 2nd one listed separately.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Still housed in it's original pen case, etui, which has protected it very well. The old hand carved ones are tough to find. The pen's original nib is in place and it's ready to use or display. I see no damage to report. Outer case, in leather, has a few scuffs of age. Measurements noted on the photos.
