Another beautiful little early 1800s French frame, this one would have originally held a hand painted portrait miniature, I'm sure. The cover glass is in place, as are the bendable prongs on back to enclose all for hanging, once you've decided upon which of your favorite photos it's perfect to house. The only thing more precious and pleasing than a grouping of these antique French frames will be the people who's photos are on display in them. If you need help picking out a perfect grouping for your desk, tabletop, or wall, let me know. I'm here for you.
Very good to excellent condition, it has an undamaged original cover glass in place, is a beautiful high-gold finish alloy and with addition of a tiny loop of thread or metal wire, ready to hang or to place on small easel or even lie flat as we've shown it in that final photo.
