Fabulous antique French PUIFORCAT sterling silver 4pc hors d'oeuvre or condiment serving implement set with foliate Art Nouveau style pattern, hallmarked sterling silver blades, tines & bowls, ornate reticulated accenting and all in wonderful condition! The handles and blade, bowls & tines, etc. bear the post-1838 French Minerve or Minerva hallmarks, the tiny number "1" marking within designates them as being in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are, of course, for the world renowned and highly sought after Maison Puiforcat (EP for Emile Puiforcat), maker to royalty and long lauded for only the finest of finery. Now owned by Hermes of Paris, another name we all are familiar with. A gorgeous set, great additions to your existing fine sterling silver table service!
Very good condition. There is some faint scuffs and tiny dimpling to the handles but no notable damage or repairs. See pictures for individual weights and measurements.
